Welcome to el sevillano, a hidden gem nestled in the charming town of Baza, Granada. This delightful café, located at Carr. de Murcia, 27A, 18800 Baza, is a haven for locals and travelers alike seeking a cozy spot to indulge in delicious bites and exceptional service.

The café’s warm atmosphere is enhanced by a lovely log fire, making it an inviting place to escape the cool breeze while enjoying a meal. Patrons rave about the generous portions and delicious tostadas, which have been described as the best in the region. Imagine savoring a perfectly toasted slice of bread, enhanced by a flavorful rub of garlic and a drizzle of olive oil, definitely a must-try for breakfast lovers.

el sevillano is not just about the food; it’s the holistic experience that beckons visitors to return. One appreciative customer, Natasha, captures the essence of the place perfectly: “Love this place. Friendly staff, great food and set out of the main road in a building that looks so out of place that it will leave you gawking.” The outdoor seating area is adorned with beautiful plants and flowers, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle of the town's main thoroughfares. It’s the perfect spot to unwind with a coffee or a light meal while soaking up the serene surroundings.

Of course, like any café, there have been moments of inconsistency, as noted by Lynne, who expressed concern over a lack of a full menu during one visit. While it’s important to acknowledge that experiences can vary, the overwhelming consensus remains that el sevillano offers delightful culinary experiences that are not to be missed.

With a phone number of +34 958 86 15 21, it's easy to call ahead and check on menu offerings or make arrangements for your visit. Whether you’re a local or simply passing through Baza, el sevillano is an enchanting café that promises warmth, comfort, and delectable food–making it a perfect pit stop in your travels.

We usually really like it here, but, when we last called in, they didn't have a menu and only bread products were available. I don't know if the cook was off work or they're just not doing food at the moment. Usually its really good

This bar is tucked away behind the shops and it has taken us 2 years to actually notice it. So far we have only eaten breakfast here. However I had to write a review to say thank you to the helpful and friendly staff, not only for their great service but also for the best tostada we have eaten anywhere. The portions are generous and delicious. We order a tostada with a rub of garlic, drizzle of olive oil, tomatoes and melted cheese (fundido), 2 freshly squeezed orange juices and two coffees. Total price 7.80€

Great place to pop in for lunch. We visit regularly when shopping at nearby Lidl. We often enjoy sitting outside in the shade.

Love this place. Friendly staff, great food and set out of the main road in a building that looks so out of place that it will leave you gawking. Lovely little outside seating area covered in plants and flowers, delightful.

Great beer, great prices. Lovely staff. Tapas with each round but can be a little bit hit or miss with what you get... Always return

We stopped for a coffee when passing, it is a beautiful building with lots of plants on the terrace. The staff were friendly & efficient. It was one of best coffees we have had in Spain (high praise as we drink a lot). The ood from the kitchen looked amazing, we have already planned route home so we can stop for lunch. Great service, atmosphere & price highly recommend.
